April 17, 2008 – (TUCSON, Ariz.) Taking their cue from the popular television show MythBusters, the real estate professionals of Long Realty’s branch office at River and Campbell are hosting a free public information seminar designed to debunk the "myths" of the current housing market.
MythBusters: Designed to Bust the Myth of Buying and Selling a Home in Tucson will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2008, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Tucson Association of Realtors, 2445 North Tucson Boulevard. The event is free and open to the public.
According to Linda Moore, branch manager of Long Realty’s River-Campbell office, the event will strive to inform both home buyers and sellers, and empower those who have been unsettled by reports portending doom in the housing market.
"This is one proactive thing that our office wanted to do to help restore confidence," Moore said, "and alleviating consumer anxiety is a big part of it."
Several real estate experts will speak about the Tucson housing market at the event, including Long Realty Companies Chief Executive Officer Rosey Koberlein. Approximately 20 vendors-from home warranty services to landscapers-will also be on hand.
Door prizes will be given away by all vendors in attendance, and free refreshments will be served.
