LONG MORTGAGE WELCOMES MORTGAGE CONSULTANTS, MORTGAGE SPECIALISTS

MAY 21, 2008(TUCSON, Ariz.) – – Long Mortgage Company has added two new mortgage consultants and two mortgage specialists to its team.

"We are pleased to bring these individuals on board," said Long Mortgage President Renee Booker. "They are experienced professionals who know the Tucson market well, and will help to support our commitment to professionalism and integrity in this business and in this community."

Pam Cox will serve as a mortgage consultant at Long’s Broadway East branch office. A 23-year veteran of the profession, Cox is a Tucson native who attended both Arizona Western College and the University of Arizona. She comes to Long Mortgage following work with Title Security Agency.

Jay McCall, a reverse mortgage specialist with HomeServices Lending-an arm of The Long Realty Companies’ parent company-has more than 10 years of experience in reverse mortgages. McCall will work independently to provide reverse mortgages to seniors over 62 in Greater Tucson. McCall holds a Master’s Degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania. An affiliate member of the Tucson Association of REALTORS and the president and founder of the Foothills Rotary Club, McCall was raised in both Illinois and Arizona. He is married with two children.

Conrado Ortiz joins Long as a mortgage consultant at Long’s Sahuarita branch office. A native of Tucson, Conrado comes to Long Mortgage from Canyon Community Bank. He is married with three children.

John Showalter, a construction mortgage specialist, brings 30 years of financial services experience to Long Mortgage. Specializing in builder construction loans and home loans, Showalter comes to Long from First Horizon Home Loans, where he served as a branch manager. A resident of Tucson for more than 20 years, Showalter is an active member of the community and serves as a board member of the Tucson Metropolitan Housing Commission, the Lhose Family YMCA, and as a division chairman of the United Way.
