August 4, 2008 – (TUCSON, Ariz.) – – The staff and sales associates of Long Realty’s Sierra Vista branch office are celebrating a decade of service in Southern Arizona.
In 1998, the Long Realty Companies expanded into Sierra Vista and acquired Axiom Realty, Better Homes and Gardens Mountain Vista Realty, and the Century 21 Gateway West Realty branch office, quickly gaining control of a significant share of the market.
Within 2 years, Long Realty-Sierra Vista had outgrown its first home on the south frontage road along Arizona State Route 92 and moved into its current location at 2363 East Fry Boulevard. Since that time, Long Realty-Sierra Vista has grown to 65 agents and 4 staff members.
"We are grateful to our clients and friends who have helped to make us successful here in Sierra Vista," said Sales Manager Jesse Valentine-who has been with the office since its 1998 opening.
Branch Manager Jean Giuffrida was also quick to praise the community and staff, saying "It is my absolute pleasure to work with such an outstanding group of people."
The key to Long’s success in the community, both leadership and sales associates say, is Long’s emphasis on education and technology.
"Long has been high on technology all along," said Jim Ackerman, who has also been at the Sierra Vista branch for 10 years. "The institution of tools to assist agents in marketing and obtaining business has been first rate and cutting edge. Long’s services to both agents and the public have resulted in a strong and growing real estate presence in the Sierra Vista area, and I think that Long has the resources to remain at the top no matter what the market changes are in the coming years."
Giuffrida says that while quick expansion and technological advancements have helped Long to grow its Sierra Vista business, perhaps the most successful element to Long’s staying power in the Cochise County city is its commitment to the community.
"Long has been a great leader in serving this community," Giuffrida said. "Through the Long Realty Cares Foundation, our agents have donated money to fund organizations and events right here in Sierra Vista, including the Just Cares Foundation, the Good Neighbor Alliance, and Buena sports and academic clubs just to name a few. So our agents are always giving back to the community, and it is that vested interest in the community’s collective success that sets them apart."
