The Long Realty Company announced the 2008 recipients of the Samuel H. Woods Community Service Award and the Barrington L. Long Lifetime Achievement Award during Long’s annual company meeting on April 22 at the Westin La Paloma.
Sales Associate Sue Hill of Long Realty’s Foothills office received the 2008 Samuel H. Woods Community Service Award—given to the sales associate who best exhibits a commitment to the community through service and values.
A $500 donation will be made in Hill’s name to the University of Arizona Samuel H. Woods Memorial Scholarship Fund. Hill has touched the lives of many as a youth volunteer and supporter of the Tucson Sportsmen’s Fund for underprivileged children.
Joining Hill was fellow Sales Associates, Bill & Eloise Perry from the Long Realty Tanque Verde office, who were the recipients of the 2008 Barrington L. Long Lifetime Achievement Award.
Named after former Long President Barrington “Barry” L. Long, the Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed annually upon those sales associates whose work in real estate has made a significant and lasting impact in the field, and whose exemplary character and leadership have earned wide admiration from professional colleagues. The Perry’s pioneering spirit, character and many accomplishments have inspired countless others to excel in real estate.
