Janell Jellison has been awarded the Sam Woods Award by Long Realty Company recognizing her extensive community contributions.
This special award is presented annually to a Long Sales Associate who best exemplifies a commitment to the values of community involvement, to “service above self” and whose selfless acts inspire others to create a lasting impact on making our community better for those in need. A donation will be made in Jellison’s name to the University of Arizona Foundation for student scholarship.
“I cannot think of a more deserving recipient than Janell.” said Laura Mance, Branch Manager of the Long Realty Foothills office. “There are very few people that are aware of the extensive contributions she makes to our community outside of work. It is time she is recognized for that.”
Jellison is a current Governing Board Member of the Catalina Foothills School District, a board member for Catholic Community Services of Southern Arizona and Chairs the Facilities Committee for that organization. In addition, she has been instrumental in the building and opening of a shelter for women in Douglas, Arizona this past year. Jellison also contributes to the Long Realty Cares Foundation and is a frequent participant in walks and rides for various causes.
