It was announced at the Houghton recognition event on Wednesday, February 22 that Don Geisler, the HSE/Vail’s current Contracts Administrator, will step up to become the new branch manager on March 1st.
Don is uniquely suited to his new position, holding the advanced license of associate broker and the designations of Accredited Buyer Representative and Graduate REALTOR® Institute. Don has also spent years in the trenches selling real estate, as well as nearly three years overseeing contracts and making sure the broker files were complete.
“Don has always been innovative, determined and a natural leader. I’m confident he will continue to move the Houghton office forward in the years ahead,” said Rosey Koberlein, CEO of Long Companies.
To assist Don and expand the support network for new and experienced agents, sales associate Debbie Wilson will take on the new role of Professional Development and Training Specialist. A multimillion-dollar producer since 1990 in Montana and Arizona, holding the advance license of associate broker and the designations GRI and CRS, and with history of running her own realty company, Debbie will soon make a huge contribution as a coach and trainer to new agents, and as a leader in continuing education and career development for experienced agents.
Ken Ryan will retire on March 1st from his role as branch manager at the Houghton Southeast/Vail branch, take a break, then return to serve as the company’s new Short Sale Resource Specialist on March 19th.
