Agent Recognized for Sam H. Woods Community Service Award

(Tucson, AZ) Trudie Penta has been awarded the Sam Woods Award by Long Realty recognizing her numerous community contributions and tireless volunteer efforts that has made an impact in making the community a better place.

This special award is presented annually to a Long Sales Associate who best exemplifies a commitment to the values of community involvement, to “service above self” and whose selfless acts inspire others to create a lasting impact on making our community better for those in need.  A donation will be made in Penta’s name to the University of Arizona Foundation for student scholarship.

“Trudie is a joy to be around,” said Rosey Koberlein, CEO of Long Companies. “She is an exceptional person, always thinking of others first and always going the extra mile, and she is truly deserving to be recognized for her actions.”

Penta joined Long Realty in 1997 and is an active member of the Long Realty Cares Foundation since its inception in 2002, and has been a board member since 2010. She is also an active volunteer, encouraging peers to contribute to community causes, as well as volunteering herself to for the Long Realty Cares Foundation Ticket to Care program for the past 2 years. 

In addition, she is also a contributor to Saddlebrooke Community Outreach and was a TUSD volunteer as a Middle School SEED reader. She is the organizer of the Long Realty Catalina office’s Habitat for Humanity build volunteers. She is a Catalina Community Services Volunteer and Contributor, organizing their Shredding Events and Family sponsorship at Holiday times.
