There’s a new face at the table as veteran REALTOR® Anne Crooks joins the Long Realty management team, taking over from Don Booth as he semi-retires March 1.
Most recently an associate broker with the company’s River/Campbell office, Crooks has been named the company’s new director of business development/relocation. Booth will stay on as the broker for the company’s RHL Referral Network and facilitator of its Commercial Sales Group.
“Anne is uniquely qualified, a pleasure to work with and a strong supporter of our Long Realty agents,” said Rosey Koberlein, Long Companies CEO. “I know she will succeed and take our Relocation Services department to the next level. And we are all enormously grateful that Don has accepted this new role.”
Providing relocation support is a subset of the real estate industry, in which specialists assist clients as they move into or out of an area. Working with individuals or corporations, relocation services help with everything a newcomer might need, from area orientations to home searches to the shipping of household goods.
Heading Relocation Services is a natural fit for Crooks. As a military spouse, she experienced first-hand eleven relocations across the country and internationally. And she made relocation a specialty in her own real estate practice, working with Long Realty’s relocation department and the USAA Movers Advantage Program to assist military families relocating to and from Tucson.
“This exposure to the relocation experience and to new communities and cultures around the globe has prepared Anne to fulfill her new position with insight, compassion and practical know-how,” Koberlein said.
Prior to launching her 15-year career in real estate, Crooks was licensed for 20-plus years in Florida as a certified public accountant. She currently represents the River/Campbell office on the board of the Long Realty Cares Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm.
